Hi!  I am Tracey of These Nine Acres.

It's nice to meet you.

I am a thirty-something wife and mother who lives on a nine acre farmette in Northern Maryland, USA.  My husband is Brian, a financial advisor by day and a farmer in his heart.  I have 4 amazing and unique children.  Ty is the oldest at 14, Ladybug is next at 12, and then I have 4 year old twins, T1 and T2.  We have various animals including 1 dog, 2 horses, 4 goats, 4 cats, and 2 fish living here with us.

I am a freelance photographer with a line of customizable greeting cards and other printed products. You can find information about the equipment I use for shooting here.

I hate that I bite my tongue when I smile.
My favorite animal is a monkey.

I completed a marathon in 2005.

I am a certified elementary school teacher.

I love all kinds of music.

I hate video games.

I love books but rarely find time to slow down enough to read them.

I couldn't live without my closest friends...they keep me sane.

I like a little coffee with my milk.

I am a tea lover.

I like to quilt, but again, find it difficult to find time.

Antiques rock.

My sign is a Virgo.

I hate being late.

I am a control freak.

I have a difficult time keeping a digital calendar...I like the old fashioned way.

I am a visual/tactile learner.

I like being right but will admit when I am wrong.

My memory does not serve me well most of the time.

I can not remember names for the life of me.
(Students used to take advantage of this in my classroom days.)
