I found this quote about twins and was hysterical laughing...
When I have a kid, I want to put him in one of those strollers for twins,
then run around the mall looking frantic.
~Steven Wright
This one is not about twins in particular, but still true nonetheless:
All who would win joy, must share it;
happiness was born a twin.
~Lord Byron
And I loved this one...
You were born together,
and together you shall be forevermore...
but let there be spaces in your togetherness
and let the winds of the heavens
dance between you.
~Kahlil Gibran
Loving all four of my kiddos today...
(not that I don't love them every day,
but its early yet this morning
and no one has gotten on my nerves yet, lol).
Love that each of my kids has a brother and each has a sister.
Love that my older ones have younger ones to look after
and the younger ones have older ones to look up to.
Love that I have the same number of kids as my lucky number, 4.
Love that I always wanted 4 kids and my dream came true,
albeit in an unconventional way.
Love that I have 2 biological kids (and got to experience birth)
and 2 adopted kids (and got to experience my heart choosing them).
Hoping you are loving your kids today if you have them,
and if you don't I hope you are loving your parents today.
❤

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! As a mom of twins and they're awesome big bro, I can attest there's just something about the person you shared a womb with. The Kahlil Gabron quote is just perfect!
