Reflections of 2011

Happy New Year!

I am happy to welcome 2012

as 2011 was an interesting but difficult year.

While many wonderful things happened in 2011,

I am ready to move on and see what the future holds for me.

Any guesses as to what this reflection is and where it was taken?

Things I am grateful for in 2011:

Our adoption of the twins was finalized!

My photography business has grown slowly but steadily.

I got back in touch with friends that I had lost touch with.

Spending quality time with my children.

Being a team photographer for my son's football team.

I earned my credits to be re-certified to teach in Maryland.

I have a part time job that I love and a boss who is great!

T1's ear surgery that has allowed her to hear perfectly and 

has allowed her speech to develop.

Brian continues to do well in his career.

Ladybug is doing amazing in middle school and 

is showing an interest in photography :)

Ty began high school successfully, 

having a blast with football and making honor roll in his classes.

Many of my friends have had amazing successes in their lives and careers.

My parents are doing well and have visited us throughout the year.

And so much more.

But you know what?

As good as 2011 was,

I am ready and excited for 2012.
