What a fabulous weekend we had here at
These Nine Acres.
It was hot and humid...perfect for water play.
Not only did the sprinkler get a workout,
but we also joined our local pool
and went hiking to the local waterfall.
We had some nice family time
and managed to accomplish
a lot around the house too.
I might have been seen
sitting on the porch swing
reading one of my favorite
magazines
and
doing su doku puzzles.
Shhhh...
don't tell anyone ;0)
Tell me about your weekend!
Hubby worked most of the day Saturday and yesterday. So we fished some on Sunday morning. Rode horses Sunday afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI went to a fun show and took Star and Jolie. Rode Star instead of Jolie (my show horse) in the events cause he needs the practice.
He did well considering his nick name is grump rump.
Ours was very warm, humid mornings followed by afternoon thunder, rain and lightning storms. Hubby replaced drywall in laundry room, mowed yard, etc. I wnet shopping with a friend. Typical uneventful holiday for us. But we are old and tired... LOL

ReplyDeleteWhat fun ... my weekend was spent prepping for the new (long needed) mattress .. it arrives today .. not as much fun as you had but I did get to shop Bed Bath & Beyond which is one of my fav places to wander .. I want everything .. I am a gadget junkie!

ReplyDeleteMy son shot in a trap shoot competition this past weekend and did well. Sunday we hung out by our pool and we had to go to school on Monday! Terrible, I know, but we have days to make up.
ReplyDeleteTotally chilled out. Went to the Christiana Mall to see what was on sale and ended up getting a few things. Had to go to the Anthropologie store again . . . that place rocks.

ReplyDeleteMy weekend was uneventful....I stayed around the house and did excactly what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it. Little bit of heaven. :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great day you had! Please give me the secret for getting the kiddos to like the sprinkler. Mabes and her friend L are terrified of it. The only way they go through is if I pick them up and jump over it myself.
