What's this I see?
It's not a bee....
It skims the blossoms gracefully!
And flies at sleepy summer's pace
To each uplifted flower's face!
Oh Ladybug, I wish you joy
As you complete your
garden chores.
I'd like to put aside my work
And join you in the out-of-doors!
It's not a bee....
It skims the blossoms gracefully!
And flies at sleepy summer's pace
To each uplifted flower's face!
Oh Ladybug, I wish you joy
As you complete your
garden chores.
I'd like to put aside my work
And join you in the out-of-doors!

What a sweet poem to go with that picture!
ReplyDeleteOops - I tried to comment but it disappeared, I think. If this is a duplicate, feel free to delete. Anyway - a Ladybug for Ladybug? Since ladybugs are good luck, this must be double good luck! Happy WW to you!
ReplyDeleteBoy, you never know where your going to find poetry do you? I love ladybugs.
ReplyDeleteLove a ladybug....
ReplyDeleteI love that the quote today came from a tissue box! I used to love to catch ladybugs as a kid and count their dots to see how old they were.
ReplyDeleteCould also work for your own little Ladybug - get out there and play with her, mom, forget the dust!
ReplyDeleteI love ladybugs...they are so delicate yet strong. Beautiful and I love the quote.
ReplyDeleteThat poem is sweet! We had a lady bug "hatch" in our sliding doors around 5 years ago. Lady bugs EVERYWHERE. I am not as fond of them as I used to be!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Great poem too!
ReplyDeletePerfect poem to go with the picture!
